LOCATION
The self-catering apartments are ideally situated, close to several 5 star hotels and the Forum Madeira Shopping complex approximately 2.5 miles to the west of central Funchal on the top floor of a charming 2-storey traditional building, with palm trees and sub-tropical plants to the front and panoramic sea views to the rear.

ACCOMMODATION
Thea and Delphi apartments are adjacent and have the same layout and comprise entrance hall with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge leading off. The fitted kitchen with marble worktops is fully equipped and includes a full-size electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, an iron and ironing board. There is also an automatic washing machine.

The newly-refurbished bathroom has a hand basin, WC, bath with shower attachment and a marble floor.

The bedroom, with wooden floor, has either twin or double bed options (Thea), or a double bed and sofa bed in lounge (Delphi), bedside tables with lamps, rattan 3-drawer chest and a large fitted wardrobe. There is also a hairdryer. A door leads onto the balcony, which has a spectacular view over the sea.

The lounge is beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, occasional tables and limited edition artwork. There is a dining area with table and chairs, complemented by a polished wooden floor. The apartment has cable TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi broadband. A large window looks out to sea and a door leads onto the balcony. The balcony has a table and chairs, the ideal place to enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down!

AMENITIES
The eco-bus is 100m from the apartment and runs every 20 minutes into Central Funchal (Centro) and a supermarket and restaurants are 5 minutes' walk away. Funchal city centre is a 10-minute ride on the bus. Natural rock pools for swimming are just a few minutes walk from the apartment, as is the lovely Coastal Promenade and the Forum Madeira shopping centre. A fact sheet, packed with places to visit and suggested restaurants, is full of useful tips and would be sent to you when you book.

FLIGHTS
Regular flights (approximately 3.5 hours) depart UK airports. We can arrange collection from the airport at a standard cost of 30 euros.

TARIFF
The tariff is £355 per week for the apartment for two people,(£50 extra for additional person Delphi Apartment only) except the Christmas period; discount of £25 per week for four weeks and over. Bookings are generally accepted from Monday to Monday but we can be flexible. The price includes electricity and a weekly cleaning service with laundry of towels, bed and household linens provided.
